Supporting the next step: M3 Job Club
Finding a new role can mean reassessing your direction, rebuilding confidence and learning how to present years of experience to a new employer. M3 Job Club helps people work through that process with practical guidance and a community of others facing similar challenges.
Founded in Basingstoke in 2011, M3 Job Club is a coaching-led charity supporting professionals through redundancy and unemployment across North Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey.
Its structured 16-week programme covers career planning, CV and LinkedIn development, interview preparation and modern job search techniques. Members also explore topics including resilience, AI and starting a business.
Local businesses, volunteers and professional coaches contribute their expertise through Friday sessions. Alongside the workshops, members have space to share experiences, develop networks and support one another as they work towards employment.
Individual support through Alphatrack Systems
While the group programme provides a broad range of guidance, some members need dedicated time to work through their individual priorities.
Alphatrack Systems is supporting M3 Job Club’s one-to-one coaching initiative through Match My Project. The support will help the charity provide professional coaching alongside its existing group programme, giving participants focused guidance on career goals, interview preparation and how to communicate their skills and experience.
The aim is to help jobseekers approach their next opportunity with clearer objectives and a better understanding of where they can improve.
How Match My Project connects the two
Match My Project connects charities and community organisations with businesses able to contribute funding, time, expertise or materials. Organisations explain what they need, and businesses can respond to requests they are able to support.
In this case, it brought Alphatrack Systems together with M3 Job Club around a specific need: access to individual professional coaching.
For members, that adds another layer of support to the charity’s established programme—a chance to focus on their own challenges, receive tailored feedback and put a practical plan in place for their next career move.
