Neptune Court, Southampton
Another successful full fibre installation with long term contractor TOOB in Southampton.
The Development
Neptune Court is made up 124 flats and maisonettes in two 4 storey buildings located in Lordshill, Southampton.
The Proposal
Having surveyed the block, SCCIA decided upon an internal deployment, with the building fed via pole.
SCCIA planned, and gained approval for an internal installation, providing a connection point outside each apartment.
The Delivery
SCCIA deployed TOOB service via 4 DPs per building.
All core drilling and fire stopping was managed and completed by SCCIA.
On completion SCCIA fully spliced and tested the network and provided a built sign off.
The Conclusion
Successfully deployed in around a week per block, offering the residents full fibre connectivity from TOOB.
The partnership with TOOB meant these services were introduced to the scheme at no charge to the residents, managing agents or the freeholder, Southampton Council.
The solution was delivered with very little disruption to the residents, future proofing the building and adding desirability and value to the homes within.
