4 Fibre Shortlisted for TWO Awards!
4 Fibre is proud to announce our nomination for two categories at the 2024 UK Fibre Awards: the Rollout Challenge Buster Award and the Best Fibre Innovation Award.
Our nomination for the Rollout Challenge Buster Award recognises our successful 4 Fibre rollout at the Charecroft Estate in Hammersmith and Fulham. Following a traumatic fire at one of the estate's towers in 2016, the council was understandably hesitant to approve multiple ISP-led installations, due to the risk of compromising the building's compartmentation and existing fireproofing.
In October 2023, our 4 Fibre solution was identified as the best option to provide ultrafast fibre across the estate, minimising disruption in these two key areas, which were high priorities for the council. We successfully overcame this highly sensitive and challenging rollout, providing the four hundred residents of Charecroft Estate with ultrafast fibre capability.
Our nomination for the Best Fibre Innovation Award recognises our 4 Fibre installation at Park West in January 2024. With its impressive red-brick façade dominating Edgware Road, Park West is one of the most attractive and sought-after mansion blocks in the area.
Our 4 Fibre installation made each of the 533 flats across the nine-storey building full-fibre ready for up to four ISPs, without compromising the building’s fabric and aesthetic. This highly challenging rollout was made possible through 4 Fibre.
These nominations highlight our commitment to excellence and innovation in the UK fibre sector. We are set to join other industry leaders at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel on 6 June 2024, to celebrate achievements across technology, sustainability, and community initiatives.
